Bigfork Elementary and Middle School
There are approximately 550 students K-8th with approximately 20 students per class. The building is divided into 3 main sections. The “little fork” is comprised Kindergarten through 4th grade, “main hall” comprised of 5th and 6th graders with the “upstairs” consisting of 7th and 8th graders. Giving a small feel to a “bigger” school.
As a K-5 it is a big enough school to support an elective rotation consisting of Computers, Art/Music, Library and PE, yet small enough to have home room classes around 20 students. In grades 6th-8th, it is rotated three times a year through the core classes, with students also being able to participate in several different electives.
Bigfork High School
Bigfork High averages under 20 per class, with some higher-level classes even smaller. A leader with concurrent enrollment with FVCC. Many schools pursue AP or IB programs which may lead to college credits if students test well and if the college takes the score. To learn more Click Here
